Invoice save query & notes

The Invoice issue was I wanted to create a couple in advance for my bookings on sunday. Set up the invoice on Friday pm but couldn’t view it once “saved” - so did another one and same thing. Then on Sunday they were both there. I’m sure if I hit save and send it would have been there but trying to just “save” they were not visible.  

 

Also when completing notes in the invoice section for customers you currently can’t paste into the area. When trying to type the keyboard on the mobile covers the area so you can’t see what you are typing.

    Here's a few updates on what I've found out so far. 


    Invoices Not Showing Up
    You've nailed it with your testing. Invoices with a future issue date won’t appear until that date. It doesn't make much sense for them to be hidden and the team is working on updates that will allow you to filter all invoices by date, including upcoming and overdue which I believe will also sort this out. 

    I’m following up on one more lead to see if there’s a quick fix or a workaround other than doing a date in the past. Stay tuned.

    Keyboard Issues  We have a fix ready to sort this one out in the update we're shooting to ship towards the end of August. 

    The wonderful mitchjdavis is all over this one and he'd love to know a few details so that he can make sure the fix is going to work with you.

    If you're able to; please let us know your phone e.g IphoneX, whether you're using the default keyboard on your phone or any custom keyboard settings or keyboard app.

    Thinking about my save query - is it because I’m post dating the issue date? I will test again today and see if I select the creation date I’m doing it - that it “saves” with due date as the day the client is coming as they pay on the day.

      Hi TrishA_WA , we have a bunch of the team taking a look at this one for you right now and they have a few questions that'll help them nail down the bug. 

      1. What date are you using when you set an invoice in the future? 
      2. If you're comfortable with it it'd be great to get a quick screenshot of an example invoice that triggers this problem with everything you'd usually fill in just before you hit Save.

      mitch - re keyboard I have an iph12 and no special keyboards just the standard..

        Thanks for confirming, TrishA_WA
        I've verified that the issue you were experiencing with the keyboard covering the notes shouldn't occur in our next release. We're expecting that to make its way to your device in late August.

        We're still looking into the copy-paste issue and will give an update as soon as we can.

  • Hi Trish!

    I just wanted to confirm that it is now possible to view invoices with a future date; head on to "Money In," then click the three dots and select "All Invoices," and voila! You'll have all your invoices right there, regardless of issue date.
