Hi timkirk112 , thanks for this feedback. I have raised shared this with the team working on these changes to see if we can replicate the issues and investigate further. Cheers, Mike
Hey MikeG1 ,
While it's great you've shared my feedback, and please don't take this as me shooting the messenger, but... the main crux of the issue is MYOB is being reactive to these changes, not proactive to them.
While I understand that security is a pain in the a** it is there for a reason, the problem is MYOB have just followed the ATO's demands (Which do have a high bar set, you could probably thank Optus for that) to the letter (which you do have to do), but haven't used this opportunity to try and mitigate the frustration at all and left your clients high and dry throwing the ATO under the bus while wiping your (MYOB's) hands of the issue...
As mentioned before Single Sign On has been a thing for ages... Your competitor Xero has had SSO / Push Notifications sign-in since 2021!

If instead you had used this as an opportunity to have enabled Single Sign On or Ran Up a 2FA app like Xero Verify, you could've mitigated this outcry. Don't get me wrong you can't make everyone happy, but you could've come out of this looking alot better than you have.
Also I know you can't just snap your fingers and roll out an app instantly... This has been one of the fundamental problems with MYOB in the past 3-4 years, instead of being ahead of change you've been lagging behind...
