CMN.ATO.GEN.XBRL03 & CMN.ATO.GEN.XBRL04 Individual Tax Return 2024

Does anyone know the magic hack to fix these ATO rejections in an individual tax return. Ive read back through other posts and tried the suggestions but nothing helps me.

 

Errors
    Code:    CMN.ATO.GEN.XBRL03

    Fields:

    Summary: A field contains invalid data (such as letters in numeric or date
    field).

    Details: The value specified for an item does not match the item type (value = "1
    return was lodged", item type = null, uniqueID = )


    Code:    CMN.ATO.GEN.XBRL04

    Fields:

    Summary: A mandatory field has not been completed.

    Details: No value is assigned to an item.

    Hi Meg2,

     

    The error codes you're seeing generally indicate issues with data validation. Please double check that each entry matches the expected format in the software, ensuring that fields like tax file numbers, amounts, or dates are filled in as required.

     

    This also indicates that a mandatory field has been left blank. Go through each mandatory field in the tax return section to confirm that a value has been provided.

     

    If you've already checked these areas and are still encountering issues, it could help to clear your browser cache or try using a different browser.

    Hi Sai

     

    I am using the desk top AO. I have deleted the entire return twice and still keep getting the errors above.

     

    Why doesn't the ''Fields section"' show me exactly where the error is? Why can the return validate but not lodge?
