Wrong bank account on super payment

Hi,  I processed a super payment and the bank account that I chose for it to come out of is not the correct one.  The payment is set up to come out of one bank account which it has been correctly paid out of.  The problem is that in MYOB it shows the super payment coming from an incorrect bank account.  How do I change this?

  • The super payment has come out of the correct account that was set up correctly.  However in MYOB it is showing that it has come from a different bank account.  How do I correct that?

      Hi mdal,

       

      To correct the account the value went through, you can create a journal to transfer the amount from the wrong bank account to the correct one. For more details on setting up Super in your file, you can check out this guide: Set up Pay Super.

  • Hi mdal,

     

    Super payments are taken out of the bank account you've nominated when you set up Pay Super. If you want to change the bank account your super payments, come from, see Changing your Pay Super payment details.

     

    To deal with the transactions showing in the wrong bank account, you'll need to record a journal entry to transfer the pay-super transactions. See this link for more details.
