Payroll: Search employee pay slips by employee name
New System has lost functionality. We were able to search payslips by clicking on a particualr employee. We can now only search payslips by date. This makes it more time consuming to send adhoc payslips when staff ask for it., or when we need to retrieve payslips for other reasons. In the new upgrade, the drop down from the Customer Name in invoices only shows the business, not the contact like it used to in the old Essentials. This means for us with multiple contacts at the one business to invoice, we cannot see which one is correct to select. The only way is to view invoice as pdf (which then saves it) and if it is wrong, we cant go and select another company/contact due to it being "saved". This is a terrible new function and incredibly time consuming; deleting the whole invoice and re-doing each time until the correct contact is found is ridiculous. **Example** Perhaps a customer comes back to you after you have issued them an invoice and want it changed to a more specific person/department/Owners Corp/Landlord etc...it can't be done and has to be deleted and re invoiced. What if the invoice was 5 pages long? Every line item cannot even be highlighted and copied, so it would need to be printed and manually entered all over again. PLEASE CHANGE BACK THIS FUNCTION! This is really adding stress to our business. So, it is 2-fold, this request. 1. Allow the option to change the customer on an invoice and 2. Show the contact for each company next to it. Would it be possible to have a 'paperclip' icon included against a transaction that has the receipt attached, that is visible in the list of transactions, rather than having to open the whole entry to find out if there is a receipt attached? It would be much easier to then be able to track which receipts need attaching. Is it possible that when you are reconciling bank accounts and credit cards the accounts listed in the dropdown only include accounts that have the Account type 'Bank' or 'Credit card'? Very frustrating trying to find all the different bank accounts and credit card accounts when you have to scroll through the whole chart of accounts to find them. Can you please make a search funtion for the customer card ID when invoicing. We invoice to the one customer/busines's/Body Corporates that have multiple properties they own and this can only be distinguished with the card ID. This is an important function like all other myob versions as at the moment you waste countless hours scrolling though your customers card to find the correct property to invoice too!!! When searching for a customer and them finding that they do not exist as yet, why does the name that you have already typed disapear in the enter new customer screen? Hi MYOB developers, Nice work in supporting headers in the Essentials Chart of Accounts. Could you please now include the header in all account pick lists so we know which account to pick. For example, as I have now created header accounts to group their motor vehicle expenses, my clients will have two accounts called Repairs & Maintenance. One will be for their equipment and the other for their motor vehicles and it would be good to be able to know which account you are selecting. I realise that the account number is included in the pick list, but my clients are not familar with the concept of referring to the account number. The same exists for depreciation provision on the balance sheet where I have grouped their Plant & Equipment, Motor Vehicles and Furniture & Fittings into separate groups.
