Invoices: Include reference field to what invoice is
Hi , When you look at the list of invoices only Invoice numbers, customers, data, amount, status etc are seen. If there was a column showing a reference to what the invoice is then it would be helpful to figure out which invoice relates to what. I am currently keeping a separate spreadsheet with Invoice numbers matched to POs, project codes etc. Regards, Rony "Reference in invoice listing"13KViews29likes19CommentsSales: Show unit price to 4 decimal places
when changing the item prices(to the GST exc price), we had to go to 4 decimal places to get this to add through correctly in the sales invoices (due to rounding). This then showed the unit price of the item to 4 decimal places (which didn’t look very nice). Is it possible that MYOB could bring in the option to show the unit price in invoices at 2-4 decimal places? I'd like the option to save an invoice as a draft so I know it's not complete. Preferably I'd like all the invoices to be drafts until I specifically finalise it. This way there is no confusion as to which invoices are complete, which have been sent to the customer, and which still need information added. Currently, the direct deposit details in the How to Pay Details window excludes a field for SWIFT code or a text box for bank's address. I send many international invoices that my international clients pay via international transfer. They require these details on their invoices. Is this in the pipeline? Hi, Would it be possible to have more room available in the notes section? I run a Mechanical workshop and some of the "stories" I need to write about the work carried out is long winded. I'd like more room to be able to have the complete write up on the customers invoice instead of attaching a seperate piece of paper to their invoice. Your consideration is much appreciated. Hi all, I think it would be a good feature to have a notification window to tell you of customer payments made since your last logon, or last few days. As it stands, invoices just disappear from "invoices issued" in the dashboard and go to payed, once a bank feed that matches the invoice comes in what do you think? I, and others would find it helpful, if we were able to search for an invoice by entering a name or keyword, we expect would be in it. Example, we do a lot of shipping service work for a fishing company. The invoices all go to the company, but they have many ships we service. I cannot see a way, that we could search that companies, hundreds of invoices....by a single ship name or keyword. For later refernce of what work we have performed in the past. Can this functionality be implemented? "Searching invoice details by a keyword"16KViews37likes30CommentsSales: Send multiple invoices via email (at the same time)
Is there an option to select multiple invoices to be emailed to the one customer from the Sales screen? The best work around that I have found is to select the individual invoice numbers, press print at the bottom of the screen and then use an Adobe product to email them. The issue is then that the invoices are not marked as 'Sent' and we have to open each individual invoice and fake a print. This is very time consuming. Is it not possible to have: 1) a simple function to send multiple invoices to the one customer 2) a check box under the 'Sent' column where we are able to quickly mark this ourselves Thank you. There's a nice feature to create an invoice from a quote, but it's really laborious (multiple screens, clicks, backwards and forwards etc) to work out which quotes have been invoiced and which are still requiring work (either work performed for the client, or an invoice to be sent). This is particularly hard when doing multiple jobs for the same customer as they all show up with the client's name and no description of the job. A simple solution - when creating an invoice from a quote, allow the user to change the status to "invoiced". That way the business owner can quickly look at the quote reports work out what quotes need work to get cash in the bank and not miss out / go broke. I imagine most people would have to spend ages working through it and go broke, or (as I have to do), manage this on an excel spreadsheet outside of MYOB and rekey all the info multiple times. Maybe this isn't the best fix in the long term, but it's a quick and easy fix that would help me enormously to start being able to manage sales flows. Not being able to do so makes me want to find another platform that's integrated with a CRM - there's many on the market, so MYOB needs to step up if they want to keep pace.
