Spend Money/Receive Money: Enter key to navigate to the next line
Hi, when I'm posting entries in Spend Money,I use the TAB key to move between fields. If I'm splitting the coding for an entry, once I keyed the amount for a particular GL code Iused to use the ENTER key to create a new line (ready for the next post). This is not working. It continues to tab through the fields, and once the cursor is in the memo field it then starts creating blank lines within the memo field. I'm having to TAB all the way through to the end of the line, which is when it then creates a new line for me to continue the entries - dare I say it again, having to take my fingers off the keyboard and use the mouse. It doesn't make a difference to data entry if I have a tick in the preference box or not. "The Enter Key not working correctly?" Hope this makes sense and you can help. Can we please have the simple things that worked in v19 in 2012, please. Julz3.8KViews0likes3CommentsSpend Money/Receive Money: Ability to Insert/Delete Rows (General Journals)
It would be really useful if MYOB had the ability to insert rows in Spend Money/Receive Money/General Journals transactions (you can do it in purchase/sales invoices) – it is extremely frustrating when something has been entered and a line is missing, you then need to redo a sectionof the journal if you want it in a particular order (or especially with recurring journals thatmay slightly change from month to month and you want to insert a line, but not at the bottom). This would be easily overcome with the ability to insert lines in these types of transactions. What do other people think or am I the only one that wants the order of line items to be in a specific order? Hi there tech's can someone please tell me if the following problemhas been addressed ... When entering in spend money (or receive money), after havingentered the account number and tabbed to the amount, once the amount has been filled in, I then used to use the enter key to create the next line of the transaction, but all this does now istab through to the job field, andthen the memo field ... where it then creates a new "line" (paragraph) within the memo field. You actually have to keep tabbing through the complete line to "create" a new line (creating lots more unnecessary key strokes promoting RSI/OOS, etc). Has this been addressed yet? Please note - it doesn't matter if in the setting you have a tick in the box re "enter key works as the tab key" etc. This makes no difference. Thanks, Julie "Data entry and the enter key once the amount field has been completed"4.5KViews4likes4Comments
