Non-Taxable allowance showing as taxable on payslip
Hi All Has anyone seen an issue where a non-taxable allowance is created manually for many employees, but one employee it is moved to the taxable allowances and the PAYG calculated incorrectly? Removing and re-adding the allowance to the pay corrects the issue (if caught before finalising). It has happened over multiple pays (same allowance), but there is no issue with the allowance table or pay table except that the figure is moved to the taxable allowance total in the pay table. No corruptions found to be the cause. Thanks all. Michelle1.1KViews0likes3Commentspayroll deduction and PAYG error
Hi MYOB community. Im using MYOB AccountRight Premier v.2022.9.0 I have an employee who has selected tax free threshhold and would like to salary sacrifice to their Superannuation fund of choice. They work very few hours and so are under the tax free threshhold. When I added the salary sacrifice as a deduction I get a non-zero PAYG deduction, even though they are well under the ATO tax free threshhold. Why is MYOB doing this? See image below. How can I over-right the PAYG-deduction to be zero? I really don't wont to the employee payslip to include a PAYG-deduction, however small. Thanks in advance.Solved431Views0likes1CommentSTP / IAS PAYG amount not matching MYOB report
ATO business portal IAS PAYG amount not matching MYOB report I accidentally ticked "Yes, report updated pay run" by mistake, instead of "No, report new pay run". This particular pay event has been recorded in MYOB and is correct, but theSTP Payroll Reporting Centre has a $0 report as it was noted as a Pay Run Update. Despite correctly entering a subsequent pay event, with the next report having the correct YTD amounts, somehowthe amounts have not updated sothere is a mismatch with the ATO portal which has the lesser amount (without the "updated" pay run). How do I make sure that this pay event is actually picked up? Do I need to reverse the pay run and then re-enter it clicking"No, report new pay run" I entered the correct details with the IAS report, but this still doesn't match what they expect so am unsure of any repurcussions or issues to come.
