Cards: Set a default Invoice Delivery Status (system wide)
Currently there isn't a preference to set all cards as "To be Emailed" as their default invoice delivery status. This sounds like a great idea for ourAccountRight Idea Exchange. The exchange has been developed for our users to submit their ideas for potential release in a future upgrade. It is monitored by our Product Development team and allows users to comment, vote and submit their own suggestions for product improvement. It would be great to be able to email receipts to customers when you receive their payment, at the moment you can only print and I find this waists time and paper. When you create a new quotation or invoice, theTax Inclusivecheckbox is 'remembered' from the previous transaction. I would like configuration so that all new invoices/quotations have the checkbox ticked or unticked according to the configuration setting. This means that each business could control the setting according to their business requirements. In our personal business situation, industry standard for our commercial work is typically GST exclusive whereas our domestic stream of work is typically GST inclusive. We have had a couple of occasions now where the GST checkbox was 'remembered' from the lastquotation (that was GST inclusive) and as a consequence a quotation that should have had 10% added for GST was not added because it was not noticed that the checkbox was on.This of course can be the difference between making a profit or a loss.13KViews20likes24CommentsOnline Payments: Ability to select which payment methods are on offered
Currently there is only the option to choose an online payment to include bPay, Visa or Mastercard. We therefore can't use this as we don't accept credit cards. However we would like to be able to email our clients their invoice with the direct payment option for bPay. It seems very strange that we can not chose to have one and not the other! Currently we must choose whether we want to have online payments or not. We should be able to chose WHICH online payments we would like to activate. Any chance we could get the option to setup a unique email address for individual customer so I may email statements out monthly to the customers preferred accounts email address. I am well aware there are 5 configurable email addresses to choose from but I want to have a dedicated email address for the account statements to go to, sick of changing/forgetting to pick the correct email address when emailing out dozens of statements at the end of month. Companies are now starting to accept PDF only (ie no HTML links). This is requiring invoices to be manually downloaded and then sent as an attachment in a manually prepared email. I have seen the in tray for purchases and ask if there are any plans to add an in tray to the sales invoice side. It would be very helpful to us as a solar installation company to store all compliance and design pdfs with the installation sale record, so that over time we when we re-visit the sale record we can find all of that in one place. Hi MYOB Team, I can see that this has previously asked by many other users in the "MYOB Community", and whilst they have all been replied to and then "closed" for comment, this hasn't rectified nor made the problem businesses face go away. Can we please have either: 1. the ability to automatically pass on BPAY merchant surcharge fees to clients on invoices, just like we do with MASTERCARD and VISA; and/or 2. the abilitiy to switch off BPAY as a payment option, right now it is lumped in with Mastercard and VISA. When we were part of the pilot program this was rarely an issue for us, but since being fully rolled out, regular users now know that by selecting BPAY as their method of payment they can avoid the surcharge fees. Initially after getting stung a few times we had to decide what level of fees we're prepared to cop? As a result we'd chosen to disable the payment feature all together for all "account clients" leaving it only available for Cash Sale Invoices and only if they're less than $500 because whilst this is a great feature the costs associated are NOT! Our original invoice emails are set up to attach a pdf copy as well as email the link. It would be great if this option could also be added to the automatic invoice reminders, as our customers are literally complaining that having to click the link and download a copy takes up too much time.
