Bank Feeds: Match - Extending search date range
I would like the Bank Feeds- Find auto date range suggestion to increase from 7 days to say 30 days My client writes cheques and they are rarely presented in 7 days. So for the 50 cheques he writes each month- the process of matching is rather time consuming- defeating the purpose of livebank feeds. Find Transactions: Search by description transactional line
I'd like a search function for bills, purchase orders and the like by text in the description. At the moment the AccountRight can only search text in the memo, while most detailed information in bills are actually contained in the description. Sometime I know that I had purchased something but can't remember from which suppliers or when, a search in the description would bring that out immediately. Search: Items by supplier
Can we have another column in the item code search drop down for Supplier. When you have thousands of item numbers and the desciptions are quite similar when entering a sale to a customer it would be so much easier to search having the correct supplier selected against their product. Search: Remember Date From filters from previous session
At the moment, the "Date From" field all registers in MYOB AccountRight 2012 defaults to the first of the current month. It makes more sense to me to have this field default to the first day of the current financial year, or at the very least, the first day of the current quarter. Displaying only those transactions made in the current month seems meaningless. Is there any chance of this behavior being modified in future editions? Search: Ability to search by partial account name
I am new to MYOB and have noticed when I go to disburse a charge / invoice to an Acct# and Job number that you can only search by the account number. This is quite impractical as i would have to memorise over 400 account numbers to be able to disbuse. With other accounting programs I have used you can do a search for the words or vehicle registration to isolate the only accounts set up with those words in them. Eg. Searching for the word "fee" or "repairs" etc. Is it possible for you to upgrade the search fields so you can also search for words? It would save a lot of time processing invoices and make this part of MYOB more practical for our comapny and I am sure for a lot of others as well. Search: Ability to search by job name
Hello One of the aspects of MYOB that I find slows me down considerably is the need to know numbers instead of being able to search by name. I was able to do this on another accounting package that I used to use. Eg. When entering invoices it would be far quicker to be able to search for "Job Name" alphabetically from job list instead of having to know/find the actual job number Also when creating a card it would be simpler to type "job materials" instead of needing to know/find the number from the chart of accounts. This feature would really save the user alot of time when entering purchase/sales/payroll information. Please consider this as I really miss this feature from my old accounting package. Would be great if a Find and Recode option could be included in Find transactions or on the edit menu, to locate and edit multiple transactions, at the one time. When looking for a transaction and needing to fine tune the search to one particular date, why not include a button with a simple arrow that points to the right. This would be placed immediately betweenthe date from and date toselection boxes. If youare searchingfor transactions from 1/2/12 to 1/2/12 why not present the user with this option "From" 1/2/12 > "To" 1/2/12. By clicking the little arrow button, ">" the same date can then be filled automatically in the right hand box. Banking: Search Card by Contact
For your consideration. I have lots and lots of individual (not company) customers. Sometimes their customer card is set up by first name, some by individual surname, some by family name. I would like to oppotunity to search within the Receive Money or Receive Payment screen for the Payor. Currently i have to bomb out of the middle of the transaction, go to Card File, do my search and return to Bank Feeds screen to update.
