Hi all,

We are pleased to announce that AccountRight 2013.2 is now available. With AccountRight 2013.2 you will be ready for the new financial year.

AccountRight v2013.2 delivers all your compliance updates and more:

  • Updated tax tables as a result of changes to the HECS and HELP indexation
  • A new Superannuation Rate Change Assistant to make sure your employees get the right super payments
  • A simplified updating experience so you stay up to date
  • Compatibility with Microsoft Office 2013 so you can get the most from your software.

PAYG tax table updates

There have been updates to the PAYG tax tables as a result of the removal of the HECS-HELP discount and voluntary HELP repayment bonus. You’ll need to load the updated tables after closing the 2013 payroll year.

Superannuation Rate Change Assistant

From 1st July 2013, the Super Guarantee rate will increase by 0.25% to 9.25%. To help you to make this change, we've introduced a Superannuation Rate Change Assistant that will run the first time you process a pay in the new payroll year.

Payment Summary Assistant update

Transitional Employment Termination Payments (ETP) and Community Development Employment Projects (CDEP) payments need to be recorded on payment summaries for the 2012/2013 payroll year. The updated Payment Summary Assistant will help to ensure your 2012/2013 payment summaries remain compliant.

Simplified update process

An automatic update check makes sure you are always up to date every time you log in.  When an update is available, you can install straightaway, otherwise a reminder bar will appear.  No more checking for updates gives you one less thing to worry about.

Compatibility with Microsoft Office 2013

AccountRight 2013.2 is compatible with Microsoft Office 2013, so you can have all your software working together.

Version 5.0
  • Hi,

I am using MYOB 2013.1 and my accountant is on 2013.2.

He has sent me a file and I have tried to open the file and it comes up with the message that I need MYOB 2013.2 and to go “Check Updates”.

When I go to “Check Updates” it says I have the latest version.

    What do I do?

    Hi,

With the release of 2013.2 ,the option to "Check for Updates" is no longer available as it is done automatically each time you log in.

I have been unable to Log In my data file for many months and now cannot get any Updates if they become available.  Your Technical people have promised to contact me to fix this issue. To date I am still waiting to hear from them.
