BUG: in partnership profit distribution

Hi Steven_M

I would like to take you back to 2016:

https://community.myob.com/t5/AccountRight-Getting-started/BUG-Partnership-profit-splits-do-not-work-correctly-in-This-Year/m-p/420851#M59173

As this bug has not been corrected and I have been struggling with the problem for 5 years, I decided I would turn profit distribution feature off.

It seems that I cannot do that either.  Can you tell me how to disable this please.

Regards,

AlanT

  • Hi AlanT

Just testing the Profit/Loss Distribution function, I was able to set it up and then remove the records to put it back to the default: Company. This is after transactions have been recorded and years rolled.

To do this, I have navigated to the Setup>>Profit/Loss Distribution selected the delete icon for all splits. This has placed the amount back to 100%. I've then move the Entity Type back to Company before selecting OK to save those changes.

If you are experiencing a different situation can you offer additional information into what is occurring?

      Thank you Steven_M

      That certainly wasn't very intuative.

Fingers crossed that it works this year - or better still that MYOB complete the task of developing this feature so that it works correctly for all the reports.

      Regards,
