Limiting Import/Export functions

We need our payroll clerk to be able to import timesheets from our timewriting system.

The import has been configured and works fine, however enabling import/export assistant for the payroll clerk appears to give them to export all of our other details such as account names and balances.

Is there a way to limit Which Imports and Exports a role can utilise?

The role does not have access to this information, so it is a little vexing that they would be able to export it...
