Deactivated/Cancelled Bank Feeds

Hi,

my client has cancelled the credit card bank feed in the MYOB file, however it is still showing as connected in the online banking, how do we fix this please?

Additionally the same client has deactivated a bank account feed (it shows as deactivated) in online banking and we need this reinstated, is there an application form or something I need to complete to have this reinstated?

Thank you

Kelly

    Hi ArdentAdvisory,

For the credit card bank feed, even though your client has cancelled the credit card bank feed, it might still appear as connected due to a synchronization delay between MYOB and the bank's systems. Please go to the Bank Feeds window on your software and click on the "Check/Update Status" button. This can sometimes force the system to refresh and display the correct status. If it still shows as connected, you may need to manually remove the bank feed by going to Bank Feeds section. Find the connected credit card feed and select the option to disconnect or remove it.

For detailed instructions on how to reapply for you bank feeds, please refer to Connecting bank accounts to MYOB. It covers all the steps you need to follow.

    Regards,

    Sai

    • Hi Sai,

"Check/Update Status" did not achieve anything.

The credit card bank feed is still showing as "cancelled" in the MYOB file but active in ANZ online banking. I have forced deactivation via the ANZ online banking and attempted to reapply to activate it.

I have also reapplied to activate the other bank feeds that were previously connected and then cancelled via the ANZ online app and hoping that works. I can't see anywhere in the MYOB support page you referred me to that specifically assists with reconnecting previously connected accounts. Hopefully it works via the ANZ online banking app. I will keep you posted.

      Thank you

      Kelly
