Help with Prepare Banking

Hoping someone can help! I have been using this for a while now so am familar with it. However, in the last month or so, I am finding that no matter what I put in the memo, when it appears in my banking - it just shows "Bank deposit". The same applies to the date I apply - when it appears in my banking - it shows the date I did it and not the date I actually want to apply it to or put to it..

Is this a MYOB issue or am I missing something?

    Thanks for your post.

     

    The "Bank Deposit" text is the default memo for any "Prepare bank deposit" transactions. However, this could be edited before recording the transactions. As this is an unusual occurrence, may I get you to try and record a transaction from "prepare bank deposit window and screenshot every step to include in your next response if the issue persists until now. Additionally, you can provide information regarding what you have done so far to troubleshoot this issue.

    Hi team,
    We have also been using acoutnright for more than 10 yrs and use the prepare bank deposit function every day.

    We also have issues with the date recording as the current date instead of the deposit date entered.

    And the memo is not always being recorded as the memo we enter. 

     

    Eg if we group payments with the date 10.11.24 , it will be recorded as 11.11.24 (todays date).

     

    Please help this is a nightmare for us.

      Hi Emma1201,

      This is quite unusual, specifically with the prepare bank deposit function recording the current date instead of the deposit date entered. For the date recording issue, ensure that you are entering the correct date in the deposit date field and that the system is not defaulting to the current date. If the problem persists, I recommend clearing your AccountRight cache to avoid some software discrepancies. Clearing the AccountRight Cache
