In the absence of a solution from MYOB, the Ostendo developers have now modified the Accounting Integration Script to connect and authenticate to MYOB A/R Cloud in a slightly different manner. Through their own investigations, it appears that MYOB may have changed something around their authentication process. The Ostendo developers have modified their Accounting Link script to accommodate this therefore allowing us to get around the current problem.
In order to resolve this at each Ostendo site, we would ask you to follow the steps below:
(NB: This only applies to sites integrating to MYOB AccountRight - Cloud)
- From the General Settings Screen (File -> Financial Configuration -> General Ledger Settings) press the 'Update' button to download and install the latest script version 3.60
- Once the script has been loaded, then press the 'Connect' button to check the connection is working.
- If it does not Connect, then please press the 'Setup' button to re-establish the link. (NB: You will need the MYOB Login Username and password for this process)
I have followed this information which updated the General Ledger Settings, but it has not initiated a batch run for everything completed since 5/3/24 @ 4:40PM from Ostendo into MYOB!! HELP NEEDED ASAP!
Hi Steve,
I am also having trouble with the Ostendo/AccountRight Live Cloud connection. We have not had any invoices or bills coming across into MYOB since 05/03/24. I have deleted the Link and added the link again. It is version 3.6. When I click on connect it comes up with 'Exception at GetAccess Tokjen procedure: Error connecting with SSL.' So I have clicked on Setup and it says you must have the credentional to log into your my.MYOB account. So I click 'yes'. A box appears then disappears and I can go no further. Any ideas?

Bridget,
I had to get our Ostendo technical advisers to take me through how to re-link Ostendo General Ledger Settings to the AccountRight Live Cloud database.
Only thing I was doing incorrectly was that you needed to use the Ostendo User Id and Password in MYOB, rather than my personal User Id and Password to access MYOB (just check to see in MYOB users if you have a user called Ostendo). Then everything was ok and all transactions passed from Ostendo to our MYOB file.
Make sure you are connecting to the correct MYOB file also, during the General Ledger Settings setup.

Thanks Steve,
Yes, it is the correct file. I can also see that Ostendo is a user in MYOB but of course I cannot see the password. I have emailed our Ostendo technical advisers to look into it for us. Hopefully get a solution soon.

Bridget,
Just change the Ostendo User Id password yourself (if you are logged in as an Administrator) within MYOB - and make a note of what it is.
