Only Business Pro has the option for sales orders. This function does not appear in MYOB Business Lite.

Hi Bek27,
Thanks for your post and welcome here to the Community Forum. Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention. We are sorry that you cannot find the sales order option for MYOB Business Lite, and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
Regarding your concern, in MYOB Business Lite, you typically find sales-related functions under the "Sales" or "Invoicing" section. You may look for a tab or menu option labeled "Sales" or similar.
Within the Sales section, there should be an option to access sales orders. This option may be labeled as "Sales Orders," "Orders," "Quotes," or something similar. You may click on it to proceed.
Feel free to post again anytime you require further assistance.

Yes I am aware of that information. I have multiple clients with Business Lite and multiple clients with Business Pro.
All the ones with Business Pro have "Sales orders" as an option under the sales tab. All the ones with Business Lite have no "sales orders" as an option under the sales tab. In fact one client recently set up Business Lite after being advised by the MYOB sales person that sales orders were part of the Lite option. But when she went to migrate her data across the migration team corrected this and said sales orders are only part of the business pro, not business lite, so they couldn't migrate her data across. She therefore had to upgrade to Business Pro in order to get the function she wanted.
It would be great if MYOB didn't tell people that the Lite version has functions that is does not actually have. Or if Business Lite is supposed to have sales orders in it but just doesn't for some reason, that this could be fixed internally- Earl_HD2 years agoMYOB Moderator
