EOFY payroll - reports don't match. Error is in leave taken during the leave. leave balances not

EOFY payroll - reports don't match. Error is in leave taken during the leave. Leave balances not taken out of the Payroll Activity Report.

    Hi Newtab 

     

    Thanks for your post and Welcome to MYOB Community Forum.

     

    There are some instances wherein the Leave (hrs) column from the Payroll Register doesn't match the Leave (hrs) from the Payroll Activity. Therefore, there is nothing wrong with your reports. As the Payroll Activity shows the balance of the total accrual of the year while the Payroll Register shows the YTD balance. I highly recommend as well to check the Entitlement Balance Detail report to make sure that your reports are all correct. To do this, go to Reports > Payroll > Entitlements > Balance detail.

      thank you.  i had already identified that the difference was the leave taken during the year.   It would be good it MYOB training referred to this because they say that the reports need to match.  Thank you for verifying that there are no issues.
