Payroll - Annual leave Salary Employee

Hi Team,

I wonder if you can help me.

I'm trying to allocate time taken on annual leave for one of our employees.

He is on salary, how the time can be reduced for his annual leave balance same for sick leave?

Please find attached how it shows his details when I'm doing payroll.

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks

  • Hi L2,

I wanted to follow up and see if you're still encountering this issue. If you are, could you please take a moment to verify if the leave pay category has been marked to automatically adjust the Base hourly or Base salary details?

    Please see screenshot attached.

    Hi L2,

Thank you so much for your post and welcome to the Community Forum!

My apologies for the late response. You can adjust an employee's leave balance by recording a zero dollar pay with a leave adjustment value. The employee won't be paid anything, but their leave balance will be corrected. You can also add a note to the pay so the resulting pay slip will clearly show the adjustment you've made. It also provides a record and audit trail of what happened and how you fixed it.

For all the details, see Managing your employees’ leave.
    Regards,
    Earl
