Payrun Query

Hi,

 

I have made a mistake of pay date on the payrun and I have deleted the payun as it was still showing as "not sent" in STP.

 

I rerun the payrun with the correct data and I can see both old and new payrun showing up in the STP .  I would like to know - Can I run Send Update Event ? I was expecting the old payrun to be deleted from STP , Can you suggest what i can do next ?

 

 

Also on the side note , i noticed that my events are not automatically sent , earlier after each payrun , it  used to get sent automatically. Can you suggest - is there setting to make the events sent automatically ?

    The old pay run "not sent status" will remain on the STP screen as there is no option to remove it. The best course of action is to leave the "not sent" status as it is and ensure that your payroll reports are accurate. Sending an update event is usually required if there are discrepancies in your payroll reports and if you update your employees payroll information with ATO. 

     

    Regarding automatic sending of events, typically, once you process and complete the steps on processing pay runs, those pay events are automatically sent to the ATO, and you'll see them reflected in your STP reporting.

      Thanks for responding to the queries.  Regarding the events, i have noticed that none of the events are sent to ATO from last 3 months , is it possible for you or your team to check my STP page ?

        Hi there AG23,

         

        We don't have access to check your STP reporting. If the update events you've sent are still showing as still showing as not sent, you can check the ATO portal and have it match with your YTD verification report to see if the figures are correct.
