Business Pro | Business Lite Reports Capability

What reports that are available in Business Pro are not available in Business Lite

    Regarding your concern, MYOB Business Pro typically offers more advanced features and reports compared to MYOB Business Lite. Some of the reports that might be available in MYOB Business Pro but not in MYOB Business Lite could include: 

     

    1. Custom Reports: MYOB Business Pro often allows for more extensive customization of reports. You can tailor reports to your specific needs, adding or removing fields and filters as required. 
    2. Budget vs. Actual Reports: Business Pro might provide more advanced budgeting and forecasting tools, allowing you to compare your budgeted figures with actual financial results. 
    3. Inventory Reports: Depending on the version, Business Pro may offer more comprehensive inventory management features and corresponding reports, such as inventory valuation, stock level tracking, and reorder reports. 
    4. Job and Project Tracking: If you are dealing with jobs or projects, Business Pro might have more detailed job costing and project tracking reports. 
    5. Payroll Reports: Advanced payroll reports might be available in Business Pro, especially if you have complex payroll needs, such as multiple pay rates, leave accruals, or employee benefits. 
    6. Profit and Loss Variance Reports: Business Pro may provide a more in-depth analysis of profit and loss variances by comparing different periods or budgeted vs. actual figures. 
    7. Customer and Supplier Aging Reports: Advanced aging reports might be available in Business Pro, allowing you to track outstanding customer invoices and supplier bills more effectively.

      Specifically does Lite provide the following standard reports that are available in Pro:

       

      Accounts List Report

      Accounts Payable

      Accounts Receivable

      General Ledger Report by nominated Account codes

       

      Is there a "trial" version of Lite with a dummy company loaded that can be accessed so that one can understand what Lite does provide

        We understand that you need those reports, however, MYOB Business Lite does not provide those reports that are available in MYOB Business Pro. If you want to check the available reports for MYOB Business Lite, you can find more information about this on our Help Article Business reports.  

         

        Regarding your question about the MYOB Business Lite trial, we do not have a trial for Business Lite. However, if you want more information about this product, you may always reach out to our Sales Support Sales (myob.com).
