Sales Invoice - Build Items

Hi there,

I am trying to record a sales invoice which I have to Auto-Build items but it looks like I cannot pass the "Build Items". It does not come up with any error, it does not go into the next stage when clicking "Build Items" so it is hard to understand what is happening. It was working fine but the next invoice it did not work. I have tried other invoices that have other stock item and I have the same issue.

If anyone can help me with this issue as soon as possible, it would be much appreciated.

  • Hi DS_EPC,

Greetings and welcome the Community Forum!

I see you're having trouble with the Build Items process not moving forward. Since it was working fine before, it might be a glitch or an issue with the settings or data. This can also happen if there isn't enough stock for the items making up the auto-build item, but you should still get the window to build or buy those items. Have you tried clearing your AccountRight cache? Sometimes, clearing the cache can fix issues with the software not responding as expected. I've also applied a fix script to reset the file.

Feel free to get in touch if you need more help.

    Cheers,

    Princess

      Hi Princess,

Thank you. I have checked the AccountRight cache but there is nothing to clear so this is not the issue. It must be something else and i observed that every time there is an update it does this. I have the same issue again and it was a recent update a week ago. Can you please try to reset the file again as soon as possible? Also can a permanent fix be found?

        Hi DS_EPC,

I've reset your file again using a script. It's definitely odd that you keep having issues with each update. If this continues after the next update, please submit a support ticket through My account. Also, since there's no cache to clear, try refreshing the file by signing out from the Service menu and signing back in before checking the inventory. Thanks for your patience!

        Cheers,

        Princess

  • Hi Princess,

Thank you. I will check to see if it is working. What do you refresh the file by signing out from the Service menu? Did you mean log in-log out?

I am not checking the inventory, I am processing invoices that requires build items and I cannot log in-out after every invoice.

      Hi DS_EPC,

Yes, it indeed means logging out and then logging back in. Log out by signing out from the Service > Sign out from AccountRight Live. This can help fix some issues by reconnecting to the server. But I totally get that logging in and out after every invoice isn't practical, especially when you're dealing with invoices that need building items. You only need to sign out once when you run into the issue with being stuck on those invoices. And if the issue persists, please reach out to our support team through our live chat via the virtual assistant MOCA or raise a support ticket through My Account for more assistance.

      Cheers,

      Princess
