I would like to thank bonzo for sharing helpful insights with you regarding your concern about all text fields and boxes that show border outlines when printing invoices to pdf. He is correct that you may try to use a different PDF printer or instead of using Print>>PDF, you may use Send to>>Disk. I am glad to see that you mark his answer as an accepted solution.
