I am not sure I would say it is resolved. It should work. More to the point I have found a workaround...which is to disable one of the functions that should work

That's quite an unusual situation. It's definitely not typical for turning off the MYOB invoicing feature to make the upload invoice function work, especially since it shouldn't impact how GST is processed. To get this sorted out, I suggest reaching out to our support team. They can help you figure out what's causing this issue and find a solution.
