Hi MichaelCondie,
The browser version of the software doesn't default to the card file's terms because it currently lacks access or support for those terms. The development team is actively working on making the browser version as feature-rich as the desktop version, one step at a time. This feature is already logged for future improvements but is currently not a priority.
In the meantime, feel free to create a new thread if you need any other help.
