record journal entry

Hello

I have to record a Journal entry. When I have gone into this section, in the top left hand side it says 'display in GST (BAS) reports as  --  Purchase, but it won't allow me to open it. Can you please tell me where I go to unlock this so I can record the journal entry

    Hi Wilfords 

     

    Once you select an account to use, MYOB will select either Sale or Purchase. If you select an Income account such as 4-1001, it will assume a Sale type, you can then change if you want it processed as a Purchase type.
