Can I mark a payroll category as inactive??

Hi   Does anyone know if you can mark a payroll category as inactive?   I'm tidying up for STP 2 and there's a stack of old payroll categories from previous bookkeepers that are no longer applica...

    Hi there,

     

    If the payroll category has been prviously used, you will be unable to delete/mark as inactive. 

     

    I did watch a STP webinar recently and they advised to put a 'Z' infront of the payroll category name so unused categories show up at the bottom of the list.
