HOURLY RATE ON PAYSLIP DIFFERS FROM CALCULATED RATE ON PAYSLIP

Hourly rate on Paylip differs from the Calculated rate showing when employee took a days leave.

They are set up inour system on a 45 hour week which indicates the hourly rate is $42 however the calculated rate calculates on a 38 hour week.  Not sure if I need to set up something else in MYOB to fix this problem

  • Hi, Batto

    Thanks for your post.

Generally, this occurs if the pay rate you chose for the leave-paying category was set up to a fixed-hour rate of. We recommend changing it to the Regular Rate Multiplied by and leaving the next field to 1.0000. This will allow the leave to be paid at the same rate as the employee's regular pay. For further information regarding this, you may check the Help Article: Leave and entitlements.

Please let us know if you require any further assistance with this.
