Super guarantee stopped calculating for one employee
Hi, Since upgradeing to STP in July - 3 week in July - one of the employees super stopped calculating. Not sure if these 2 are related. I do a pay run for 15 people each week and only 1 has stopped calculating. The 1st 2 weeks in July it was fine. I have not done any manual adjustments to that person's pay at all. I have checked all the settings and compared to other employees and it is the same. I have tried to call MYOB and sent lots of screenshots, they tried to connect me to the payroll specialist but i was on hold for 90 mins and I had to hang up as i need to answer the phone and work and can't stay on hold this long. I am trying again today with MYOB to get some answers.
But I thought I would ask here as well. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas? I am doing a payrun today and will manually insert the correct super for this week but ongoing I need this fixed as seems like a glitch in MYOB?
Hi, Thanks, yes it did have to do with age of the employee. I got through to MYOB and after talking to a payroll specialist and checking every box was ticked correctly - 1.5 hours later - finally figured out that the age of the employee had changed from 45 yo to 1yo - the year reverted to 2021 - not sure how as I don't often access the employee card and no one else has access to MYOB. MYOB are investigating how that may have happened now. But once I changed the age back to the correct age Super worked as obviously being 1yo won't get any super.
