Lets us use a pin instead of email address and password to sign in, we could use the email and password for if or when we have to down load the program again of cause.
Or your customer ID (not your serial number!). It is a lot shorter and easier to enter than my email address.

Or make it so that password/form fillers can fill the fields in the desktop version.
This should already work in the web version, but advanced users require the desktop version so this form filler/password manager integration would save a lot of time and effort...
