Some suggestions on my first go…

So I have a few few issues/ suggestions re: the app from my first session.

  • the app isn’t formatted for iPad which is annoying. The screen is small and so is the keyboard. It would be great if it was iPad friendly. 

  • I can’t add my business logo for my invoices or change any of the formatting - I’m not a fan of the font and sizing of the text in the invoice. It would be great if I could create a customisable template with some compulsory and other o-tonal building blocks. 
  • I am unable to add/ change the income category name (see screenshot)
  • The “ship to” category seems irrelevant as the invoices are emailed - perhaps having an opt out for this
  • It signs out very quickly when inactive 
  • I’d like to be able to add more information for my business such as my address, contact details and a description of my services (I am a consultant and submit the work I do in a specific format for clarity for my clients).

    Hi Kash7918,

    Susan here, I'm the Senior Product Manager for this project. My team and I are responsible for helping make this new product as useful as possible for you. I just wanted to reach out personally to thank you for the absolutely great feedback!

    Here's some updates on what we're doing and what we'll get in the queue to take a look at as soon as we can:

    • iPad: We focused on mobile friendly screens first for this product. I've definitely added this to the backlog - but I'd actually like to know a little more on this one. Knowing that this is mobile first, what would be your preferred '2nd screen'? Would it be an iPad or a browser app? And why?
    • Income category: If you restart the app, you should be able to add one. Please let us know if this isn't working. We're also enabling editing and deleting of certain categories, with some limitations (e.g. personal income/expenses categories can't be changed or deleted).
    • "Ship to" Category: This is great feedback and I'm looking into it for you
    • Fast Sign-Out: Another bit of really great feedback. I'm taking a look at options here.
    • Sharing more business information on your invoice. We're working on this right now. This will be available when we finish our Business settings functions for you.
