Remittance Advise in USD Missing!
Hi MYOB TEAM We are using AccountRight Premier AU 2020.2.2 version build 2020.2.23.9038. We have both USD and AUD on our books. We recently moved over from MYOB Enterprise edition and are having difficulty providing supplier remittance advice in USD. In the old version we could go to Reports->Supplier Payments and we would have reports generated in USD showing exact payment amounts and what they were applied to and send these to our suppliers but in the new paltform the reports are generated in AUD which are useless as there is no way for our suppliers to reconcile these with invoices they have sent us!! Please advise ASAP.SolvedHelp with adding inventory locations
Good afternoon all. I have just started a new job & the company uses MYOB for parts inventory & sales, as well as accounting. I have never used MYOB before & my point of frustration is that when I go to the inquiry screen, the location doesn't show. Please see attached file. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to add this at the front page of the inquiry screen. If possible I want to add it in directly under "quantitiy on hand" field. I would also like to know how to get the location to show on invoices, so taht when I go to pick the parts for the customer I'm not always relying on memory to find the parts. I look forward to your response. Rgeards, GregInventory Sales
I am trying to understand how the Landed Cost (Inventory) connects into a Sale. I have setup the Purchase Inv with the total landed cost for each item - then posted the landed cost adjustment. All good! My client wants this landed cost to come up in his sale so he can then work out out his markup at the point of sale. I don't know if MYOB does this. If not how do you know the landed cost of the item when you raise a sale? To do it manually is just not feasible with the number of items.Current value of an inventory item discrepancy between items register report and items register
Hi friends. We have a weird issue with some of our inventory. For some reason the value of certain items is overstated by thousands of dollars. If you look at this screenshot below it shows the Items Register report for an item. The first transaction on 14 March 2024 we buy 11,040 units of it for $7,838 and it correctly shows the overall value to be $7,838. However in the Items Register it shows the current value to be $12,544.90. I can't understand how (a) the value is that high when it should just be $7,838 and (b) how the Items Register could be showing one value and the Items Register report is showing another value. Any ideas?Inventory doesnt equal COGS -recap transactions (sales invoice)
How do I go about getting actual help fromMYOB. I have called, had multiple phone calls and discussions, only to be given a generalised message from someone who clearly doesn't have an accounting background. When we post a sale for 2 particular product lines, the Inventory amount is correct in "recap transactions", however the COGS does not align with the inventory amount ( it is understated), so by default the balancing amount Sales therefore is incorrect. That means the sales doesnt gross up to align with what you might have manually calculated if you added up the amounts on the invoice. The so called support people who have emailed me and translated what someone else has told them, tell me thatMYOBCOGS can be based on average cost. Great, I dont have an issue with Fifo or average cost, however COGS cant be based on some other random number. If the recap transaction shows $2400 of underlying inventory (and I can prove it in the backend), then COGS cant be $400, it has to be equal toMYOBinventory Is there any way I can speak to someone.Item Information Page Missing clickable arrows
Good afternoon I used to be able to see the blue clickable arrows in the items information page which takes me directly to the items register, see snippet below, first snippet is from my desktop and the second snippet is from my colleagues. Have I accidentally switched a setting off? How can I get this setting back?SolvedMulti Currency Sales Invoice
I have been searching the forum but could not find anything on this issue, which makes me doubt my sanity... :) When I create a sales invoice in AUD, our local currency, our selling price is AUD58. When I create a sales invoice in SGD, the selling price is still 58, but now SGD58. When I create a sales invoice in MYR, the selling price is still 58, but now MYR58. When I create a sales invoice in ZAR, the selling price is still 58, but now ZAR58. I can't change the local currency on the create invoice screen which is the field that gets converted. So now I sell my item for: AUD18.54 in Malaysia AUD64.74 in Singapore AUD4.76 in South Africa!! That is less than my cost price. Why doesn't the system pick up the local currency selling price and converts the foreign currency to match the selling price?SolvedI Inventory.
Afternoon, the company I work for hasn't utilised Inventory at all really, they have no stock entered, so no products have the "I Inventory" box ticked. Could someone please tell me if I have to go into every single product then tick the I Inventory section, or can this be done by exporting then change this on the report and import it back into MYOB?? We are hoping to start this as of July 1st.Inventory count issues
I have the inventory however some items are not showing up on basic reports or in the product detail - just on the Items Register Report. (I've read of similar issues - maybe as we have dated the purchases earlier in the year). The stock is there and we cannot see it if we open the product detail or do an Analyse Inv report. Help!
