closed off financial year in error

Hello 

I have closed the year end in error -  i have a backup, can I restore

    Hi there - I have done the same thing - have restored to no avail.

     

    I can't even work out to start a new thread on this forum!!! Hopefully this gets some feedback!

     

    I think the easiest way is just to hold off and carry on with my basic excel spreadsheet and start afresh with MYOB for the 2026 financial year - ;-) - seems like the easy option to me!

      If restoring your backup data didn't do the trick, you'll need to reach out to our support team, who might be able to offer another option for you. You can chat with them live through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or raise a support ticket at myaccount.myjob.com.

       

      And if you want to start a new thread on the forum, just follow the steps in this thread. Feel free to start a new post anytime you need help in the future.

    Thanks!

    I did try MOCA before posting on here and went around in circles so gave up. Another moderator told me that it couldn't be done so I think I'll just leave it. 

    The writing on the desktop version of MYOB was so tiny (reminds me of those old 90's desktop Macs) that I honestly thought 'close' said 'chose' - but not worry! Thanks for your help!
