Settings for Auto-create activity statements
When editing the client settings to have the activity statement "auto-created" - do I HAVE to edit the tax agent details and BAS agent details as well?

Thanks for your post, and welcome to the Community Forum. When you're editing the client settings to have the activity statement "auto-created," it's not necessary to edit the tax agent and BAS agent details every time. However, these details are used for compliance purposes. For instance, income tax compliance uses tax agent details, and BAS compliance uses BAS agent details.
If the tax agent or BAS agent details have never been assigned through the client settings page, then when you're adding a new tax return or activity statement compliance, a drop-down menu will appear for you to select the agent. Once an agent is selected, the client settings page will be updated to reflect the selected agent accordingly. If the agent has already been assigned from the client settings page, then this drop-down menu will not be populated.
Please note that you are allowed to edit fields in the agent details section if needed. Remember, any changes you make won't happen at the ATO until the next day.
