Re-allocation of suspense data entry

I have many entries for which at the time of data entry the correct allocation was not known; so it was allocated to suspence.  How do I edit the account and enter the correct allocation code.

  • Thank you, Earl for your reply. I do not want to edit the account; I wish to edit the entries in the account. I have entries in the suspense account going back to 2020.  What I would like to do is open a list of the suspense account entries and re-allocate each entry to the correct code.  Is that possible or do I need to do a Journal entry for each entry?

    Hi Pjl19411,

Thank you so much for your post and welcome to the Community Forum!

My apologies for the late response. You can access your accounts by clicking your business name and choosing Accounts list. From here you can add, edit and delete headers and accounts (or make them inactive). Our Help Article: Accounts lists has more information on accessing and adding accounts within MYOB Business.

Feel free to post again, we're happy to help!
    Regards,
    Earl
