Thank you for your response. I appreciate you providing all the needed information. I've checked the screenshots, and it seems weird. Could you try to go back to the business settings and turn on the GST settings, then change the default item tax code to N-T, then turn off GST? Then please let me know how you go along and if the issue persists after changing the GST setting to refresh and sync the information.

After turning on GST and going to set up my first item again, both tax codes were empty. Then, when I selected the Selling Income and Buying Expense account, the tax code automatically switched to N-T as set up in the chart of accounts where all tax codes are set to N-T. The same was true when I set up a second and third item. You could say it works only when GST is turned on and not when off. When I turned GST off, the entered items showed the N-T warning like before and the tax code for a new item was set to grayed out INP codes again.
