New Payroll upgrade in NZ
in the new payroll upgrade in NZ is there no way to split a pay between 2 accounts now, seems its only available in Australia...is this correct?

Correct - the split pay option has been lost temporarily. it should be back early next year.

I keep seeing messages regarding the payroll upgrade in NZ? Which software is this for?
We currently use MYOB Desktop NZ and havn't receieved anythign about it?

The upgrade applies to customers who are using MYOB Essentials. You may also check the Help Article: Learn about payroll changes after upgrading to know the payroll changes after the upgrade.

The upgrade is MYOB Essentials Payroll to MYOB Business Payroll. If you are using MYOB Payroll desktop - then you could consider upgrading - however you should check the features to ensure you don't lose too much. ie; if you are using department/cost centres and/or posting a journal to AccRight - then this features is not in the new version yet.
