Cannot add or amend employee card

Hello. In the 10 years I have been using Accountright, I have always been able to add or amend Employee cards despite not running payroll from here. Now suddenly, Accountright crashes when I try to add a new staff member. Our accountant has the same problem. 

Can you please tell me how to fix this?

    Hi Princess, apparently we need to upgrade from AccountRight Standard to AccountRight Plus in order to get Payroll in order to add or amend Employee cards. As our payroll is handled by an external company this is a useless feature for us. The only reason I need to add an Employee card is so that our new employee can access our Warehousing software which backs onto Myob.

    • I have exactly the same problem - don't need Payroll, and just want to add an Employee Card.  Is your issue eventually fixed?

        Sorry ProfOwl, I just saw your message. No, the issue is not fixed, I received a quote for the Myob version with payroll. We have to spend more money to get back functionality that we had before. This solution does not cater to companies that use external companies to run their payroll.

      That's a bummer that the script didn't fix the issue with the employee card. No worries though, reaching out to our support team is definitely the way to go. They're dedicated and will be more than happy to help you get this sorted out.

    No worries, I've successfully run a fix on your company file so that you'll be able to access and add employee card files without any issues. Make sure to log out first and then log back in. If AccountRight still crashes when you add a new employee, you'll need to reach out to our support team directly. You can reach them on live chat via our virtual assistant MOCA or by submitting a support case via MyAccount.
