EOPY Payroll Summary not balancing with the ATO verification report

Question

Hi All, I have an issue with EOPY Payroll Summary not balancing with the ATO verification report. We have had 3 employees leave in the last financial year, and I have ascertained that the difference relates to 2 of these. I treated all the same when they finished (regards to AL, LSL etc), however the wages component of 1 is $66055.84, while the ATO is $53,185.84. The other is a lesser amount where the difference is $494.40. I have never had an issue with this previously, so I did not balance them quarterly (as done in previous years).

Can anyone shed any light on how to rectify this??

Thanks for your post. The first thing you need to do is run the payroll activity summary and payroll register summary reports. The next step will depend on whether these two reports match. I suggest checking out this thread, as it has detailed information on these reports.
