How to reverse a pay in the new STP Phase 2

Can anyone help, Ive entered a pay in the new STP Phase 2 and I forgot to enter the hours for an employee receiving Long service Leave as her wages.

I tried to enter the hours but it won't let me so I think I need to reverse her pay, but I can't seem to find how to do this.

Thanks

  • Hi Sadeta

Thanks for your post. The process for recording and processing pay runs hasn't changed in STP Phase 2. Transactions are still recorded and reversed in AccountRight, STP then reports that payroll information to the ATO.

To reverse a pay transaction, open the transaction and click on Edit>>Reverse transaction. When you declare that reversal a report will be sent to the ATO updating the YTD amounts in STP.

The Help Article, Changing a recorded pay, has detailed information to assist with reversing pays.

Please let me know if you need further help.
