Employee Birthday/Anniversary reminders

Why has MYOB not created a pop up reminder for dates for employee birthdays and employment anniversary's? It would be such a great step to take to not only ensure these dates a remembered but also for compliance such as pay increase for juniors that are due once they are of certain ages.

It could work just like the pop up when you first log in for other reminders such as reoccurring payments.

  • Adding to the comments above this is especially important now that sending the Casual Employee Information Statement at 6 and 12 month anniversaries is required. Could we please get an indication from MYOB if this is something that is being looked at?

  • Has anyone else come up with a good way to get the Casual Employee Information Statement out on the 12 month anniversary?

    Hello,

Just revisiting this topic as the new Workplace Relations legislation requires casual employees to be sent the Casual Employee Information Statement on their 6-month and then 12-month employment anniversaries. This will be a huge compliance burden without the benefit of an automated reminder in MYOB

  • Totally agree. Been using MYOB payroll since 2003 and note the request for this function is still something they give an obligatory response to. Like the rest of you I set reminders in my phone but as with all technology it just takes one hack for this function to not work.

    Hi,

I totally agree.  I have been caught out by not increasing an apprentice wage on his anniversary, and trying to manage back pay in STP2 is a pain.  As you say, they do pop ups for other things....

    Good luck,

    Jenni
