I believe that the information on MYOB's site (http://help.myob.com/wiki/display/ar/Set+up+electronic+payments): "If you want, you can use your AccountRight software to pay your suppliers and employees electronically" is totally misleading. This statement implies that any supplier can be paid electronically. It does not specify that electronic BPAY payments are excluded.
"Under consideration" for four years is an indication of the contempt which MYOB treats its users. Not everyone has time to waste trolling through forums and "voting" in favour of an idea. I have just started using ABA files and streamlining my payment methods. I came across this forum as I could not work out how to enter BPAY details on a Supplier's card. I was astounded when I read in the forum that it is not possible to do a multiple BPAY payment via an ABA file.
Come on, MYOB, stop beating around the bush and stop the excuses. It is an undeniable fact that some institutions (Councils, Telcos, Credit card providers) only accept electronic payment via BPAY. Don't tell us we can pay suppliers electronically and then exclude over half of those suppliers because you haven't or won't put the resources into setting this up.
