I am using Accountright 2013.2 and wish to submit an idea to improve the setting out of an invoice. There should be either an option or default to make the Header Line Bold. It appears on the screen as bold but when you print it does not.

Hi,
When I enter a header or subtotal line in a MYOB invoice or PO, the lines are "ghosted" when viewing on the computer. However, there is no differentiation when printed.
This almost defeats the purpose. I would like these lines to be bold or underlined or somehow differentiated.

I just discovered this morning that there is no way to create a visual distinction between subtotals, sub-headings and the rest of the items in the list in an invoice or quote. I am devastated. I can't present this to my customers and don't know what to do now.
I disagree with Donna in idi-p/138576, who said the lack of this feature "almost defeats the purpose." It completely defeats the purpose. Subtotals and sub-headings without visual distinction add no clarity to the data and will often add confusion, and are therefore worse than useless.
I added a vote that I would like to see this feature, which I should have thought about more. To be precise I would have liked to see this feature when I needed it this morning but as I am about to build or buy an alternative solution a future implemenation is not going to help me at all.

I also agree. Sub-headings (at least for quotes) is needed. Our quotes typically have 1 - 2 options presented.

I would like to suggest that option is not just to bold, But also enable to change font colors different from the item lines.
In time billing, most customers do not want to see item line totals, Just description of each activity and sutotal. So if there is an option to change font color then we can change the Item font to white which will render it invisible when printing.

I completely agree.
We have clients for whom we do multiple projects, that are invoiced all at once. Without the heading distinction, the invoice just becomes a wall of text. Not at all clear or aesthetically pleasing.

Yes Please
I just added Headings and Subtotals and they looked great as I created it and then when I saw how they looked once emailed I was devasted.
This does not seem to be a huge ask.

I agree, A header is a header!
I can make this comment bold, but not headers in my invoices - very unprofessional, this needs an urgent upgrade!!

Has anything been done about this yet? I have a 4 page quote that just looks like a heap of text! Surely its not that hard to add this as a feature?
