Setting up logins details for user invited to access MYOB online company file

Hello MYOB team. 

 

 

Just a brief query regarding the above subject please. The problem is the new user to whom the company file sent won't log in. All we can see is only the user ID. So the question is, which password to use? Or how to set up the new user password in a online company file please? Looking forward to hearing from your good team.

    Thank you for your post.

     

    When a new user is invited to access the MYOB online company file, they will receive an invitation email. This email contains an activation link. The new user should click on this link to create their password and activate their account.

     

    Once the account is activated, the new user can log in using their user ID (which is usually their email address) and the password they have set up. Please refer to these Help articles: 

    Feel free to create a new post again if you need further assistance.

    • The user is already created but forgotten her password and / or lost her mfa device.  As an admin, how can I reset her login so that she gets prompted for password and mfa settings again.

        Hi Vergel_Licerio,

         

        To resolve this issue with resetting the user's password and multi-factor authentication (MFA), please have them reach out to our live chat agents through our virtual assistant MOCA or submit a case via MyAccount. Our support will reset both their password and 2FA, so they can set everything up again.
