Entitlement Cap Removal

Is there a way of processing an entitlement adjustment, as a one off,  which goes above the cap, without the system auto adjusting back the following pay?

  • Hi Kriddy

Thanks for the response. We appreciate you clarifying your concern.

If this is the case, you can add the amount to the void pay instead of putting in a negative amount. Regardless of the value, the process is the same. You can put a positive amount on the entitlement instead of a negative amount.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community Forum.

I understand how important adjusting leave is for your workflow. In this case, since we are trying to adjust the leave balances only, you can create a void pay (all figures are zero except the entitlement we are trying to adjust). Enter the number of hours you need to remove from the total leave balances in a negative figure and record. Also, in the meantime, you can zero out the hours for the entitlement under standard pay on the employee card file. This would stop the employee from accruing leave. If the employee leave balances are below your set cap and they need to accrue leave again, you can enter back the hours on the entitlement under standard pay on the employee card file.

Let us know if you need any further assistance with this.

    Thanks,

Sorry, we are trying to add leave above the cap amount, not deduct.
