Prepare BAS Error Message

Hi

just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue.

I keep getting the below error message when going to Prepare BAS/IAS. It's been happening for a while, thought the recent upgrade would have resolved it but just tried again and it's still doing the same thing. I also get the same error message when trying to access Payroll Reporting.

If I log into our company file using a web browser it works.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thank you.

    Hi WickedNRG1,

This error message usually indicates a corruption in your file, or sometimes things don’t go as planned, causing AccountRight to be unable to complete a task. To help resolve this, you can refer to this Help article: Something's gone wrong and AccountRight needs to close.

If the error persists, our team will need to look further into the error log details to identify the exact cause of the issue. You can connect with our support team through live chat via the virtual assistant MOCA or create a ticket via MyAccount.

    Cheers,

    Princess

  • I get the same error message frequently as well, in all random spots.
    Started around 6 months ago.
I have 2 data files, and they both do the same.
For me, I just click the little cross at the top and try again.. sometimes it works, sometimes not - but if not, I close myob and restart it and it works fine.

Thank you, I have tried that and it makes no difference unfortunately. It's doing it with all my company files. The only way around it is using the web version so there's obviously a problem with the desktop version.

Hope you can get yours resolved soon, it's super annoying!

Ok, thanks for that, it's happening to all my company files so it's not an isolated incident.

    I'll create a ticket.
