It would be great to be able to email receipts to customers when you receive their payment, at the moment you can only print and I find this waists time and paper. (The email remittance feature works great so why not have an email receipts option too.)

When are we going to be able to email receipts from Account Right. I have seen these ideas for the last three years or so, and answers keep saying planned, but no reality. The only I option I have atm is to save to pdf and then email. When you are dealing with large numbers such as a membership base, this is an EXTREMELY time consuming exercise. It makes no sense that print is the only option....
I totaly agree with needing the feature for emailing receipts. We are now forced to double handle receipts.
I would have thought if you can send remittance via email, why can't you send receipts?
MYOB staff commented on this thread back in 2013 (FOUR YEARS AGO) that this feature is planned. Is there an expected implementation date?

I am working for an charity where we receive approx 500 donations a weeks (We do not issue invoices). Receipt of payment is required for tax purposes.
The only way that we can acknowledge these payments it to print a physical copy of the receipt, find the email address, and thereafter do a postal mail which eats into our admin costs.
The reporting in MYOB and creating of customised fields is really out of date. Please can this be brought in line with other small business software packages

What is the hold up with this idea. It has been voted on 210 times and been in the planned stage for YEARS.
Can someone from MYOB give us an honest answer as to why this feature is not available now and when it will be available?

We have an AccountRight Live account and we can still only see an option to print receipts.

You have been merging other ideas with this one for years but there has been no official comment or update from MYOB staff for at least the last 5 pages of comments. I didn't check further back than that. Since it was flagged as PLANNED in 2013, are you able to give an update on whether we'll see it anytime soon?
