The "current status" that hasn't been updated since 2018 indicates this is one of the "top candidates" for product enhancements. Difficult to believe it is a top candicate with this was back in July 2018. It's now November 2021 and this feature is sorely lacking and makes MYOB Essentials drag well behind all the other invoicing software systems. When I purchased MYOB Essentials 2 years ago I was assured this feature was available. hmmm.
This is not just an "enhancement" or added value. This is a core component of any decent invoicing software and MYOB Essentials is sorely lagging behind. Many of my clients are regular clients whom I should just be able to set up a recurring invoice and let the system do all the work for me each week/fortnight/month. Instead I have to go in and duplicate it each time, which is really annoying. When I consider that all the other invoicing options have recurring invoices as an actual feature (not just a feature the sales person assures me is there but it isn't actually there in reality) I am very tempted to change over for that convenience.
