MYGOV SAYS NOT TAX READY FOR TERMINATED EMPLOYEES

Some of our employees were unable to complete their tax return saying that their file with us is not tax ready but we already terminated them in myob. Can you help, please?

  • Hi Tiu

    Thank you for your post.

With regard to an employee's ATO status as Not Tax Ready, if you can see the green final indicator next to the employee's name within the STP reporting center, the process is completed and accepted by the ATO, it is now up to the ATO to complete their processes and change the status to Tax Ready.

However, we have a workaround you can do to help you process and resolve this. You'll need to remove the finalization in the employee termination tab, for further information regarding this, please refer to this Help Article. Once done, you'll need to redo the termination and re-finalize, as explained in this Help Article.

If this still doesn't work, it would be recommended to check with the ATO to see why the status hasn't updated on their end.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Are we able to solve your concern? If YES, please click on "Accept as Solution". If not, please feel free to reply to this post, and we are more than happy to assist.

    Cheers,
